Oh how I love a misty morning. I walk the long way down Wellington just to see those towers languishing behind the low hanging clouds.

Autumn to early foggy winter in three short blogs. Well done. If only brisbane had such drama. We are lucky if we get a good bloom of jacaranda blossoms to herald spring. I'm waiting expectantly for the first crunching thunderstorm to bring on the summer season rains.
Were you affected by the big storm this week?

Well fog doesn't indicate winter by Canadian standards, but yes, we've had a lot of rain! Even before the big storm, which has subsequently caused us to feel wet and soggy for almost a week now. I've never minded rain, but the winds have wreaked havoc on countless umbrellas (including mine) and a women in Toronto was killed by a flying sign a few days ago. But we've not got hit as bad as the US east coast, that's for sure! As my world continues to grow more monotone, I wish you a booming jacaranda season!

I only just noticed the cocentric lies through the fog. Marvellous. The top photo looks like it could be of a temple complex from ancient Cambodia or India. Booming jacarandas and bring on the booming thunder. My garden desperately needs some rain.

I was just about to say the same thing as Steve. The towers do look like Cambodia or India...what are they?

It is a sculpture beside the CBC Broadcast Centre and behind the Ritz Carlton hotel, off Front Street in Toronto's downtown core. Far, far from Cambodia!

I expect those concentric lines are the result of my heavy-handed playing about with the contrast dials. But it does look kind of cool...
