autumn night walking: city hall

As we're about to roll over into late autumn and the revert back to standard time, it occurs to me that many of my shots will be taken under a night sky.

small bit of something really big It's rainy and blustery here, but nothing serious so far. The sky doesn't give any indication of the size of that cloud formation, which swirls over a large part of the Atlantic and a significant part of America. I'm itching to get home tonight, but I stop and think about how small I am, how small my city is, in relation to that cloud.

happy weekend breakfast Saute onions. Add kale and grape tomatoes. Cook up some bacon. Break up some bread. Crack some eggs. Beat in some milk, salt, pepper and a few drops of hot sauce. Layer all that stuff on top of the bread. Ensure the egg mixture gets soaked into the bread. Top with cheese. Let it sit for a few minutes while the oven warms up. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.
