summer friday beer o'clock

Friday of my week back to work after that luscious and restful week off. Work is getting busy again and I have to wrestle my mind back into work mode. I have to wrestle really hard. It is, then, a most welcome Friday beer o'clock with my best people at the Flatiron & Firkin patio. I always admire these flourishy brackets on the lovely Flatiron building. It's Friday. It's summer. Life is good.

got a french fry? Today I get busy at work and I take a late lunch, around two. I've still not re-stocked my refrigerator sufficiently since coming back from my holiday, so I go get a salad at the Longo's salad bar and take it to the little park next to the Bay Adelaide Centre, where plenty of office workers are still sitting, eating, smoking, talking... wanting a little sun, like me. picasso, streetcar, barbeque My niece Elaine is staying with me over the weekend and we're doing Toronto stuff. Elaine's creativity is bursting at the seams these days so we figure it's appropriate to go to the Art Gallery of Ontario to see the Picasso exhibit. We both agree the exhibit is spectacular.
